Windows Administrator Rights
Introduction
To setup and install software on the new Windows platforms you will have to pretend to be the Administrator of your PC. This is also the case if you are the only user name on the PC with Administrator rights.

Introduction 
The new Windows 7 & Vista operating systems often require commands to be executed with what is termed Administrator rights. To gain administrator rights, you may simply need to start the application by right clicking on its icon and selecting Run As Administrator

Example elevation to Administrator

Click your start button, and type the word "command" as shown above. As you start to type command the various entries above will display.
Then right click on the prompt as select above.

Once you select Run as administrator, you will be prompted with the regular "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?"
And, upon responding "Yes", you will be presented with a command box similar to the image below. Note that it's banner says Administrator:cmd
