Locate the install or working directory of Powerforce (here's how).

Download the most current patch from the support page.

Double-click on the downloaded patch, to which your patch process should resembe the following dialog:

Kicking off the installation will give you a display similar to the above. Ensure that the version number inside the brackets corresponds to the most recent patch on the support site. The version number is made up as follows:(a) the first character is the Hexidecimal value of the year - 'e' --> 14, hence 2014. The 131 corresponds to the Julian date of the year (131 is 11 May).

You will be prompted to enter the "Openinsight Executable Directoy", which corresponds to the location of your Powerforce (the "Start In" value on the shortcut).

What the below image is demonstarting is the case of where we have a session of Powerforce actually running on the workstation at which we're applying the patch. The patch update requires that no Powerforce is running, hence you will need to switch and exit your Powerforce, otherwise the patch process will self cancel.

Clicking 'next' will give you a screen which appears exactly as the previous, however, there is specific detail in the description as to why this prompt is being made. Generally you will always click next.

As the update process commences, your display will look similar to the image below.

Once the update is completed.

Click Finish to exit the patch update.
